Introducing A.J. Makenna

she has a head full of black hair! even more than Savannah had when she was born, it is so thick and wild! lol She has the most beautiful blue eyes!!! Savannah's were black, Thank goodness A.J. doesnt favor her daddy as much as Savannah does/did.
Savannah loves her so much! I thought she would be jealous, she has her moments, but so far she loves on her and kisses her alot, she even tries to give her cookies and share her bottle with her!

You are gifted Candi, to be blessed with two healthy daughters that obviously bring light to your life. Sounds like Savannah is already a proud big sister.

How are you doing? What is it like to have two little ones now? Do you have help from your family? How long do you have off work?

I lost my job in April so I am a full time mom now. Im living back and forth with my family members mainly stay with my mom and dad cause they are such a big help. It is hard, and I feel overwhelmed at times, but today it really hit me at how blessed I am and I don't take anything for granted anymore. My uncle's gf went to the hospital this morning she was 8 months pregnant with a baby girl too, they couldnt find the babys heartbeat, she had placenta abruptia and the baby died. I have his other two girls right now, Harley (2) and Carlie (9) they were so excited about their new baby sister. I just dont know how we are going to explain it to them.
I just keep holding Savannah and AJ today and thanking God for them. I am so truly blessed.

I am so sorry to hear that you lost your job. That must have been frustrating for you.

Being able to be a stay at home with two young children is a great trade off though. Kids are stressful and I remember how much you worried about going back to work after Savannah was born. There really is a blessing in there!

That is so tragic about your uncle's wife and baby. I could not imagine the pain of having to go through that, it is completely immense, lives are changed forever. When the children are told, Carlie will definitely understand right away, Harley will probably be confused. Young children don't understand death. I would like to suggest a book my friend bought for when her child died inutero. Waterbugs and Dragonflies I believe, and I know there is another book I called the Dragonfly Door which is recommended.

Death makes us appreciate what we have in our lives and you obviously are cherished and are thankful for your two daughters that light up your life.
