New Begginings

A new day has dawn
for friends from far and near
The news was quite shocking
some even shed a tear.

A place known to us as home.
Going away? No it couldn't be.
Shock and grief overwhelmed some.
but few realized what it would mean for Morg to be free.

She has given so much and gotten so little.
She has been struggling with decisions she had to make.
Ones that were not easy, ones that hurt so much.
These are life changing decisions nothing fake.

So with much dread in her heart.
The thoughts were nothing new,
She has struggled for quite some time.
but to her heart and soul she had to be True.

But now to us she brings an even greater gift.
The power to be free from the negative things in life.
She is showing and guiding us along the way.
Trying to rid herself of her strife.

She began a new world for us to meet.
A place where positive energy flows.
A place to seek guidance and a loving touch.
A place where our spirit grows.

Thank you for this gift my friend
and for sharing a peice of you with all of us here.
We shall stay together in friendship Kindred spirits are all of we.
For this gift we shall forever hold you close to our heart my dear.

Absolutly B-A-utiful Moms, in fact you beat me to it, but my poetic juices haven't been flowing lately so it was on my to do list, heh. Very very nice job, however I'm sure I can't give you anymore karma just yet, so I'll have to come back again for that. :D

AW Man that is so cool! I wasnt here a year ago, i came along a few months later...but around the same time as ya'll made the move here, (exactly one month to the day as that post) On July 7, 2004 i was making the move out of my house and filing for divorce... seemingly the biggest decision of my life-so it was changes none the less. I missed that poem and am glad you "bumped" it. lol

Bumping a 6 year old thread... OMG REPORTED!! Oh wait... I get to play Admin here.

This was a great read then and still is now. I agree sometimes I miss the hectic old boards but then I don't miss spending all the time with warnings, bans, and housekeeping. Seeing some of the old account names brought a smile to my face.

6 years... some of you I have known longer than my youngest child. I will always have a special place in my heart for you all.
